JR League

PGA Jr. League is a nationwide program that brings kids ages 17 and under together to learn and play golf in a fun, team-based environment with expert coaching. Using a scramble format, players of all skill levels wear numbered jerseys and compete in friendly matches that make the game accessible and engaging.

Spring Training

Sonoma Ranch Golf Course will host three PGA Jr. Leagues for the Spring Season: Minors, Majors, and All-Stars. Each league is limited to 24 players, and space will fill up quickly. Sonoma Ranch will also host Summer (June/July) and Fall (September/October) seasons for each league, with the addition of a 17u league in the summer. More details to follow.

Summer Sonoma PGA Jr. League Schedule (June 2 - July 27)

Minors: Wednesdays from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Majors: Thursdays from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
All-Stars: Tuesday Tuesdays (5:30-7:30 pm) & Sunday (3-7 pm)
Registration Deadline May 15th

March 10 - May 4 (8-week season)

Minors: Wednesdays from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Majors: Thursdays from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

All-Stars: Fridays at Sonoma from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and Sundays at Red Hawk starting at 2 PM. (Players must be able to play 9 holes.)

A limited number of scholarships are available for families who would qualify for free/reduced lunch at school despite being on a district-wide free lunch program.

Mesilla Valley Golf Academy (MVGA) is dedicated to fostering a pathway for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Located at Red Hawk Golf Club and Sonoma Ranch Golf Course, MVGA offers comprehensive programs designed to develop players from beginners to advanced competitors.
